[attr="class","bryanbody"]Bryan was training in the gym, wearing simple basket ball shorts and a white tank top as he lifted his shirt to wipe the sweat off of his face. He finished his weight lifting and now it was time for combat training. he walked up to the training device apparently called a Mook Yak Jong where he practices his strikes and hand to hand combat.[break][break]

Due to all the excursion combat and stuff Bryan had to keep his senses sharp and make sure he was ready to fight someone at a moment's notice.

Giona had to beat the heat. The constant 70 degree burst of sun on Mauville's concrete cube buildings and semi-paved ground. Not even getting an undercut helped. Goddamn. So, that kept him on the sub. On the submarine that sat far from the surface of the water, where it was relatively cool. It kept him on the sub despite not being allowed to smoke on the sub. Despite not being able to smoke making him restless.

He stepped into the training facility in a pair of black mesh basketball shorts, with a plum-colored towel around his neck. Bryan hit the rods on the Mook Yan Jong, the dummy whose concentric rings sent wooden clubs at him from either side and many heights. Giona folded his arms and waited for him to stop before addressing him. Giona had a layer of what could best be described as boxer hand-wrap tape around his left arm, from the forearm to the fingers. He was as tall as Bryan, but narrower. More like a seasoned cyclist. "Do you come here often?" Sounded like a bad pickup line. Time to elaborate. "We need more Rockets like you, if that's the case." Not that that sounded any less gay.

"T-Thanks?" he said awkwardly as he wasn't sure if the guy WAS hitting on him or not. There was an awkward pause for a moment as Bryan wasn't drunk so he was not very social at the moment. [break]break]

"So uh...you're working out? Done working out?" he asked curiously as he went back to work to attacking the device with swift movements. He hadn't met this fellow before, was he a grunt or something?

If Bryan glanced aside at his bare shoulder he'd see a series of lightning bolts curled around the muscles, like a tribal-pattern tattoo. Between that and his greying black hair strewn around, he looked as much as a boy could look like the woman on the Crazy Town cover.

Shit!!! Fuck!!! Abort mission. He bungled it pretty hard, and quickly hid his beet-red face behind the towel, the fabric blurring the line between pink and purple. Giona had to move on. He went over to the racks of barbells, and looked it over.

He rolled a good 80 pounder down and caught it on his shoulders, then supported by his hands. People loved bragging about their squat numbers, but he could tell who was talking about their leg press numbers and trying to conflate the two. He folded his knees with the bar clasped in knuckles turning white over his shoulders, then returned to a standing position twenty times. He then set the bar on the rack, and pouted, scratching at a perfectly circular bite-mark on his neck.

Was he hitting on him?? He felt a disconnect nonetheless. A weightlessness to his words. He'd love to say more cryptic shit to Bryan, but that would have to wait. "Just started. I had to change in the barracks." Now, to follow up. "I can just do 40 for the next... 10 minutes? Do you need someone to spot you?" Not that that sounded any less gay.

He was always into fitness but never really ha d much he could use until he got more involved in rocket causing him to bulk up pretty fast recently. Especially when one was working out with priam conrad and had to keep up with the man. [break][break]

Bryan gave little glimpses at this guy, his tattoo was really interesting looking. He wanted his own tattoo but could never make up his mind on what he was to get. "Yo, you're tattoo's pretty cool. Where did you get it from?" he told him as he was still super shy and had no idea how to really start a conversation. [break][break]

Giona had to continue his roll. To not let the momentum falter. He stood up and walked over to a 25 lb dumbbell on the rack. He carried it over to a bench closer to Bryan, and laid on it flat on his back. With one hand on one hip and one hand pushing it up, he activated his tricep, pectoral, and obliques in one move. Every 10 to 20 reps, he’d switch sides. The weight would sit on his flat stomach for a minute. Moving it too quickly could damage his wrists or leave gainz on the table.

He felt a pang of relief when Bryan gave the two of them something to focus on, instead of talking past eachother. He had a weak grin on his face. "I run a safehouse in Mauville. Across the street is this place that does tattoos." Now, to follow up. "When you go in, you do what’s called a Consultation. You sit down with an artist in the shop and figure out the where and the what, and agree on when you’ll get it. If that’s still intimidating, I can go with you." He said, with a slight chuckle. Okay, now he was leaning into it.

"What's yours supposed to represent?" he asked curiously if it had any meaning behind it that he'd be unaware of. Well he doubted that he'd ever figure it out himself since he didnt even know what this guy's name was.
